Captain Spins Casino

If you've spent any time researching legal sports betting in the United States, you've almost certainly come across Captain Spins Casino. Backed by one of the most recognizable names in the casino and hospitality industry, this platform has grown into one of the most prominent regulated sportsbooks available to American bettors. But brand recognition alone doesn't make a sportsbook worth your time or money. What matters is how it actually performs — the odds, the promotions, the app experience, and the reliability you can count on when real money is on the line.

Captain Spins Casino operates under the Caesars Entertainment umbrella, a company with deep roots in the Las Vegas gaming world. That institutional backing gives the platform a level of credibility that newer, independent operators simply can't match overnight. It's licensed and regulated in every state where it operates, meaning players are protected by state gaming commissions that enforce rules around fairness, responsible gaming, and financial accountability. If you're betting legally in a state where Captain Spins Casino is available, you're dealing with a vetted, regulated entity — not a gray-market site.

One of the first things bettors notice when signing up is the welcome offer. Captain Spins Casino has historically run one of the more aggressive new-user promotions in the US market, often structured as a first-bet match or a full refund on your initial wager up to a certain dollar amount if it loses. The exact terms shift over time and vary by state, so it's always worth reading the fine print — specifically the playthrough requirements and which bet types qualify. Bonuses in the sportsbook world are rarely as simple as they appear on a landing page, and assuming otherwise is one of the most common and costly mistakes new users make.

In terms of the sports and markets covered, Captain Spins Casino does a solid job of meeting the expectations of the average American bettor. The major US leagues — NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL — are covered with deep market selections that go well beyond basic moneylines and point spreads. Player props, same-game parlays, alternate lines, and team totals are all available on most major matchups. College football and college basketball also get meaningful coverage, which matters in states where those sports drive a significant portion of handle. For bettors who follow international soccer, tennis, golf, or combat sports, the platform provides reasonable coverage, though the depth on niche international leagues can be inconsistent.

The odds themselves are competitive but not always the sharpest in the market. Experienced bettors who shop lines across multiple platforms will occasionally find better prices elsewhere — particularly on sharp books or exchanges. That said, for recreational bettors who prioritize a smooth experience and brand trust over squeezing out an extra half-point of juice, the pricing at Captain Spins Casino is generally reasonable. The vig, or the house's built-in margin, sits in a range that's typical for regulated US sportsbooks, which tend to price markets slightly less aggressively than offshore operators that don't carry the same overhead and compliance costs.

The mobile app is one area where Captain Spins Casino has invested noticeably. The platform is available on both iOS and Android, and the interface has been refined over several iterations to feel cleaner and more intuitive than earlier versions. Live in-game betting works smoothly in most cases, with lines updating in real time and the bet slip functioning without the lag that can frustrate bettors during fast-moving game situations. The live streaming feature — available for select events — adds real value if you want to watch and wager simultaneously without switching apps. Overall, the mobile experience holds up well against direct competitors, though some bettors still find certain navigation paths slightly clunky when moving between sports.

Desktop users get a comparable experience, with the website offering the same full range of markets and account management tools. Depositing funds is straightforward, with support for major credit and debit cards, PayPal, online bank transfers, Play+ prepaid cards, and cash deposits at Caesars casino cage locations in states where physical properties exist. That last option — being able to fund your account or collect winnings in person at a casino — is genuinely useful for bettors who prefer handling transactions face-to-face rather than entirely through digital channels.

Withdrawal processing is an area worth paying close attention to regardless of which sportsbook you use. At Captain Spins Casino, withdrawal times vary depending on the method chosen. PayPal and Play+ card withdrawals tend to process faster than ACH bank transfers or physical check requests. Most users report that the process is reliable, but it's worth noting that some withdrawal methods carry small fees and that processing windows during peak periods can stretch longer than the standard estimates. Setting realistic expectations here prevents frustration — no regulated US sportsbook processes withdrawals instantly across all methods.

The Caesar Rewards loyalty program is one of the platform's genuine differentiators. Unlike standalone digital sportsbooks that exist entirely online, Captain Spins Casino connects your wagering activity to a rewards ecosystem that spans physical Caesars casino properties, hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues nationwide. For bettors who also visit Caesars-branded casinos in Las Vegas or elsewhere, this integration adds tangible value. Tier credits earned through sports betting contribute toward status levels that unlock real-world perks. Whether those perks are personally valuable depends entirely on your lifestyle and how often you engage with the broader Caesars ecosystem, but the program is more substantial than the generic points systems most competitors offer.

Customer support is an aspect of any sportsbook that bettors tend to overlook until something goes wrong. Captain Spins Casino offers live chat, email, and phone support, which is a more complete support structure than some competitors. Response times via live chat are generally reasonable during business hours, though wait times can extend during high-traffic betting periods like major NFL weekends or playoff runs. The help center covers most common account, bonus, and technical questions, which can resolve straightforward issues without needing to contact an agent directly.

One practical consideration for new users is the geolocation requirement. Like all licensed US sportsbooks, Captain Spins Casino requires you to be physically located within a state where it holds a valid license at the time of placing bets. This is enforced through device-level location services, and the app will prompt you to enable location access before allowing any wagering. Bettors who live near state borders and cross into licensed states to bet must ensure their device location is properly detected. Occasional geolocation errors do happen, and knowing to clear the app cache, check location permissions, or contact support quickly can save you from a frustrating experience at the wrong moment.

It's also worth being clear about what Captain Spins Casino is not. It's a sports betting platform, not a guaranteed income source. Sharp bettors who study markets, understand line movement, and practice disciplined bankroll management can navigate sports betting more skillfully than casual players, but no strategy eliminates the house edge over time. Betting should be approached as a form of entertainment with a defined budget you're comfortable losing. If you find that betting is affecting your finances, mental health, or relationships, resources like the National Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-522-4700) and the tools built into Captain Spins Casino's responsible gaming section — including deposit limits, self-exclusion options, and session time controls — exist for exactly this reason and are worth using proactively, not just reactively.

Compared to other major US sportsbooks, Captain Spins Casino occupies a solid middle ground. It doesn't consistently offer the sharpest lines you'll find if pure odds value is your top priority, and it isn't the most innovative platform when it comes to unique bet types or data-rich interfaces that appeal to analytics-driven bettors. What it does offer is a reliable, well-resourced operation with broad market coverage, a competitive welcome offer, a genuinely useful loyalty program, and the backing of a regulated, established company that has significant accountability in the US market. For the majority of American bettors — particularly those who value trust, convenience, and a seamless experience over marginal odds advantages — it represents a serious and worthwhile option.

The availability of Captain Spins Casino continues to expand as more states pass sports betting legislation and new market launches occur. Checking whether it's licensed and live in your state is the essential first step, since legal access and protections only apply when you're operating within a properly regulated environment. Using a licensed platform in a state where sports betting is legal isn't just the right move legally — it's genuinely in your interest as a bettor, because regulation means your funds are protected, the games are fair, and you have recourse if something goes wrong. That's the foundation that makes any sportsbook worth considering in the first place.

Getting into your Captain Spins Casino account should be straightforward, but a surprising number of players run into friction the first time they try — whether it's a forgotten password, a browser issue, or simply not knowing where to look on a mobile device. Understanding exactly how the login process works, what to do when something goes wrong, and how to keep your account secure can save you real time and frustration.

Diamond Reels is an online casino that accepts players from a number of US-friendly jurisdictions, operating primarily as a sweepstakes or offshore-style platform depending on how you access it. Before attempting to sign in, it's worth confirming that online gambling or the specific type of gaming Diamond Reels offers is permitted in your state and that you meet the minimum age requirement, which is typically 21 or older for real-money gambling platforms. Playing on unlicensed platforms in states where online gambling isn't authorized carries real legal and financial risks, so always verify your local rules first.

When you navigate to the Diamond Reels website, the Captain Spins Casino button is usually located in the upper right corner of the homepage. This is standard across virtually all online casino platforms, so if you've used other sites before, the layout will feel familiar. Clicking that button opens a login modal or redirects you to a dedicated login page where you'll enter your registered email address and password. Make sure you're typing the email address exactly as you used it during registration — it's case-insensitive for most platforms, but typos in the domain portion (like

If you've spent any time playing Captain Spins Casino, you already know how quickly your chip balance can disappear. The game is fun, the slots are flashy, and the virtual tables are surprisingly engaging — but without a steady supply of chips, your session ends fast. That's exactly why Captain Spins Casino have become one of the most searched topics among social casino players in the United States. They're a legitimate way to extend your playtime without spending real money, and once you understand how they actually work, collecting them becomes second nature.

Double Down Casino is a social casino platform, meaning it operates differently from real-money gambling sites. You're playing with virtual chips, not actual dollars, so there's no wagering of real funds involved. This also means the game is accessible across a wide range of states without the legal complications that come with licensed real-money gambling. The chips you collect from Captain Spins Casino can't be cashed out — they're purely for entertainment. That distinction matters, and it keeps the platform in a different category than regulated online casinos or sportsbooks.

So where do these codes actually come from? Double Down Casino distributes free chip codes through several official channels. Their verified Facebook page is one of the most reliable sources, where the development team posts codes on a fairly regular basis. These posts often go up a few times per week and are accessible to anyone who follows or likes the page. The codes typically appear as a link or alphanumeric string that players click or enter to claim a chip reward. The amounts vary — sometimes you'll grab a couple hundred thousand chips, other times the reward climbs into the millions.

The game's official website and the Double Down Casino blog are also worth bookmarking. The team occasionally publishes posts that embed active codes directly into the content, particularly around holidays, game anniversaries, or new slot launches. These aren't always promoted loudly on social media, so players who check the blog directly often get ahead of the crowd before a code expires. Codes do have expiration windows, and some are single-use while others can be claimed by anyone who finds them in time. Moving quickly matters more than people realize.

Email newsletters are another underused source. If you've registered an account and opted into communications, Double Down Casino periodically sends promotional emails that include bonus chip offers. Players who ignore these emails often miss out on codes that never get posted anywhere else. It's worth checking your promotions folder if you're a Gmail user, since these messages sometimes get filtered there rather than hitting your main inbox.

There are also third-party fan sites and community forums that aggregate Captain Spins Casino from multiple sources and post them in one place. Some of these sites update daily and organize codes by date so you can quickly identify which ones are still active. The quality varies significantly between sites — some are maintained by genuine enthusiasts who do the legwork of verifying codes, while others are cluttered with outdated links or misleading content. Sticking to communities with clear posting dates and active comment sections tends to produce better results than hunting through random search results.

Reddit has a dedicated community of Double Down Casino players who share codes in real time. Threads in subreddits focused on social casino games move fast, and an active code posted at noon might be gone by mid-afternoon depending on the reward size. Following those threads with notifications turned on gives you a real advantage. Players in these communities are also good at flagging expired codes, which saves you the frustration of trying to redeem something that no longer works.

One common mistake players make is trying to use a code more than once or sharing their own account link thinking it will generate additional rewards. Most Captain Spins Casino are structured so that each player can only claim a specific code one time. Once redeemed, it's locked to your account. Trying workarounds like creating duplicate accounts to claim the same code multiple times is against Double Down Casino's terms of service and can result in account suspension. It's not worth the risk when legitimate codes are genuinely plentiful if you know where to look.

Another mistake is confusing social casino codes with real-money casino bonus codes. They serve completely different purposes. A no-deposit bonus at a licensed real-money online casino comes with wagering requirements, terms tied to actual funds, and regulatory oversight from a state gaming authority. Captain Spins Casino carry none of that complexity — there's no wagering requirement tied to your winnings because there are no real-money winnings. You're simply getting more chips to play with. Understanding that separation helps set the right expectations.

The value of the chips you collect from Captain Spins Casino goes further when you apply a bit of strategy to how you use them. High-denomination slot spins burn through chips at a much faster rate than lower-denomination play. If your goal is to maximize your playtime from a free code reward, adjusting your bet size downward gives you more spins per chip balance, which means more entertainment from the same starting amount. This is a simple adjustment that experienced social casino players make almost automatically.

Some players focus their chip collection strategy on timing. Double Down Casino tends to release larger free chip codes around major American holidays, game events, and milestone anniversaries. Being active around the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, or the platform's own celebration dates often yields higher-value codes than what you'd find on a random Tuesday. Following the game's social channels in the days leading up to these dates puts you in position to claim rewards as soon as they go live.

It's also worth understanding that Double Down Casino does offer in-app purchases for players who want to buy chips directly. Nothing in the free code system is designed to pressure you into spending money, but the platform is a business, and those purchases help fund the continued development of new games and features. Players who collect Captain Spins Casino consistently and stretch their chip supply often find they can enjoy the platform indefinitely without ever needing to spend a dollar — which is a perfectly legitimate way to use a social casino.

If you do choose to make in-app purchases at any point, treat it the same way you'd treat any entertainment expense. Set a budget you're comfortable with, stick to it, and never chase a chip balance the same way you'd never chase losses in real-money gambling. Social casino games are designed to be engaging, and they use many of the same psychological hooks as real slot machines. Staying aware of that keeps the experience fun rather than frustrating. Even though no real money is at stake in the traditional sense, developing healthy habits around how you engage with any gambling-style game is always a smart approach.

For players new to the platform, downloading the app and connecting it to your Facebook account is typically the fastest way to start collecting Captain Spins Casino. The Facebook integration allows the game to recognize when you click a shared code link, and it credits your account automatically rather than requiring you to manually enter a string of characters. Players who prefer not to use Facebook can often redeem codes through the game's website using their registered account credentials instead.

Keeping a dedicated browser bookmark folder for your most trusted code sources is a small organizational habit that pays off quickly. Rather than searching from scratch every time you want fresh chips, you can run through your saved sites in a few minutes and scoop up whatever has been posted recently. Combined with Facebook page notifications and email opt-ins, this creates a fairly reliable system for maintaining a healthy chip balance without much effort.

The social casino space in the United States has grown substantially, and Double Down Casino remains one of the more established names in the category. The free code ecosystem around the game reflects that longevity — there's a genuinely large and active player community that shares resources, posts codes, and keeps the information flowing. Tapping into that community is probably the single most effective step a player can take to consistently find working Captain Spins Casino without wasting time on expired links or unreliable sources.

Ultimately, Captain Spins Casino are a straightforward benefit that rewards players who stay engaged with the official channels and community spaces where they're distributed. They don't require any special skill to find or redeem — just a bit of consistency and the right sources on your radar. With the right approach, you can keep your chip balance healthy, explore the full range of games the platform offers, and enjoy the experience on your own terms without feeling like you're constantly running out of chips at the worst possible moment.

Captain Spins Casino has become one of the most recognizable names in American gambling, drawing players from across the country who are looking for a well-rounded entertainment experience. Whether you're walking through the doors of a brick-and-mortar property or logging into an online platform, understanding what this brand offers — and how to make the most of your visit — can mean the difference between a frustrating session and a genuinely enjoyable one.

Penn Entertainment operates the Captain Spins Casino brand, and it runs properties in multiple states including Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Mississippi, and others. That wide footprint gives the brand a level of consistency that regular visitors tend to appreciate. Layouts, rewards programs, and even certain game selections follow a familiar pattern across locations, which is helpful if you travel and want to know roughly what to expect before you arrive.

The slot floor is typically the centerpiece of any Captain Spins Casino property. Machines range from classic three-reel formats to elaborate video slots with licensed themes tied to movies, TV shows, and pop culture franchises. Denominations usually span from penny and nickel machines all the way up to high-limit rooms where individual bets can climb into the hundreds of dollars per spin. Players who prefer lower-risk, longer sessions tend to gravitate toward the penny and quarter sections, while those chasing bigger swings often head straight for the high-limit area. It's worth noting that higher-denomination machines generally carry better return-to-player percentages than penny machines, though the casino is never required to publish these figures and they vary by game and jurisdiction.

Table games are another strong draw at Captain Spins Casino locations. Blackjack is the dominant table game at most properties, and you'll typically find several variants — standard six- or eight-deck shoe games, double-deck pitch games, and sometimes novelty side bets like Perfect Pairs or 21+3. Blackjack pays 3:2 at most tables, but some properties offer 6:5 games, particularly at lower minimum tables. Experienced players should always check the payout before sitting down, since the 6:5 rule significantly increases the house edge. Craps, roulette, three-card poker, Mississippi Stud, and baccarat round out the typical table game selection, with availability varying by property size.

The Hollywood Casino Rewards program, now unified under Penn Entertainment's broader mychoice loyalty system, is one of the more useful perks for repeat visitors. Members earn points on slot play, table games, and in some cases hotel stays and dining. Those points convert to free slot play, and tiered status levels — from basic entry-level membership up to elite tiers — unlock additional comps like discounted hotel rates, invitations to exclusive events, and priority service at restaurants and entertainment venues. If you're going to play regularly, signing up for the card before you ever insert a dollar into a machine is simply good practice. Uncarded play earns you nothing in terms of tracked rewards.

On the poker side, select Captain Spins Casino properties maintain dedicated poker rooms. Pennsylvania's location in particular has been known for a robust poker offering with cash games running across multiple stakes and regular tournament series. If live poker is your game, it's worth calling ahead or checking the property's website for current room schedules, as staffing and game availability can shift based on demand and the time of year.

For players in states where online and mobile gambling is legal and regulated, Penn Entertainment has also pushed into the digital space. The brand connects to licensed online platforms in states where internet gaming is permitted, allowing players to access slots and table games remotely with the same mychoice rewards integration. This is a meaningful convenience for loyal customers who don't always want to make the drive but still want their play to count toward their rewards balance. Always confirm that any online platform you use holds a valid license from your state's gaming control board before depositing real money. Licensing information should be clearly displayed on the platform's website, and playing on unlicensed sites carries real financial and legal risk.

The sportsbook presence at Captain Spins Casino locations has grown steadily since the Supreme Court's 2018 ruling opened the door for states to legalize sports betting. Several properties now house dedicated sportsbook lounges where you can bet on major professional and college sports alongside NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and more. These lounges typically feature large-screen displays, comfortable seating, and food and drink service — creating an atmosphere that encourages lingering through a full slate of afternoon games. The betting interface at the windows and on kiosks is straightforward enough for casual sports fans to navigate, though serious bettors may prefer the flexibility and broader market access of dedicated mobile sportsbook apps.

One thing that separates experienced casino visitors from newcomers is bankroll management. It's easy to walk into a lively Captain Spins Casino property, get caught up in the energy, and blow through a session budget in far less time than you intended. Setting a firm loss limit before you start — an amount you're genuinely comfortable losing without affecting your financial life — is the single most effective habit you can build as a casual player. Treat your casino budget the same way you'd treat spending money at a sporting event or a concert: once it's gone, the fun portion of the evening is over. Gambling should function as entertainment, not as a financial strategy or a way to recover previous losses.

Dining options at most Captain Spins Casino properties tend to range from quick-service food courts to sit-down restaurants with full bar programs. Some larger locations feature celebrity chef partnerships or well-known restaurant brands, while smaller properties keep it more casual. If you're planning a longer visit, checking the dining lineup ahead of time helps you build a realistic itinerary and avoid the trap of overpriced impulse meals when you're hungry and not thinking clearly.

Entertainment is another layer of the experience that the Captain Spins Casino brand leans into. Larger properties host live concerts, comedy shows, and seasonal events in dedicated venue spaces. Tickets can often be purchased using mychoice reward points or comps depending on your status tier, which adds real value for frequent visitors. Checking the events calendar before booking a trip can turn an ordinary gambling visit into a fuller evening out.

Hotel accommodations are available at several Captain Spins Casino properties, and the on-site stay convenience is hard to overstate if you're planning a longer visit or attending a concert. Rates are often competitive, and mychoice members at higher status levels typically receive discounts or complimentary nights based on their play history. Booking directly through the property's website usually gives you access to the best available rates and any promotional packages that might include dining credits or resort fees waivers.

It's also worth being realistic about what a casino visit offers. The house edge exists on every game, by design, and it ensures that over a large enough sample of play, the casino comes out ahead. This is not a flaw or a conspiracy — it's simply the economic model that allows these businesses to operate and offer the experience in the first place. Short-term wins are absolutely possible and happen regularly, but no strategy, system, or betting progression eliminates the house edge over time. Slots are games of chance controlled by certified random number generators. Blackjack basic strategy minimizes the house edge to roughly half a percent under ideal rules, but it doesn't eliminate it. Knowing these fundamentals going in keeps expectations grounded and makes it easier to enjoy the experience for what it is.

Players who feel that gambling is becoming something other than entertainment — if it's causing financial stress, relationship problems, or is difficult to stop — should know that help is available. Resources like the National Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-522-4700) offer confidential support, and most licensed properties provide self-exclusion programs that allow players to voluntarily ban themselves from the property if needed.

Ultimately, Captain Spins Casino represents a solid, nationally recognized option for American players looking for a dependable mid-to-large-scale gaming experience. The combination of strong slot and table game selections, the mychoice loyalty program, growing sportsbook integration, and entertainment amenities makes it a well-rounded destination rather than a one-dimensional gambling floor. Going in with a clear budget, an understanding of the games you want to play, and realistic expectations about outcomes is the best way to get genuine value out of the experience — whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth.

I did have fun with this game and its pretty good, particularly if you're a fan of Warhammer 40k, but it does have some flaws. It does the 40k setting really well and is basically Bolter porn turned up to 11. You get to gun down Chaos cultists, Black Legion Chaos Space Marines and Nurgle and Tzeench demons. It doesn't have any Slaanesh or Khorne demons as they seem to have saved those for the sequel. But it is a shame as before even reaching the halfway point of the game you'll have already encountered the majority of enemy types and a bit more variety in the latter part of the game would have been nice. The weapons are a bit of a mixed bag, as some weapons are just far more reliable and useful than others. The Boltgun which is basically the default weapon is great for most less tanky enemies, while the Heavy Bolter is pretty solid for dealing with the tankier ones. On the other hand you've got the shotgun which feels pretty weak and the Plasma gun who's usefulness was really dependent on the situation. While playing the game I found its at its best when it sticks you in a large room or area with loads of enemies to kill. I found the movement to be pretty solid and that's best utilised in those larger areas. Unfortunately there are quite a lot of levels where you are just trudging back and forth around narrow corridors looking for keys and those levels aren't as much fun. So while on the whole I did enjoy the game, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for everyone. If you like Warhammer anyway and a Boomer Shooter with that setting sounds good, then its definitely worth trying. If you've no interest in Warhammer but just like Boomer Shooters, then its a bit harder to recommend as it doesn't really do anything unique or groundbreaking for the genre and more comes down to whether the things it does well outweighs it flaws.

I am slowly getting into the Warhammer 40K universe, with other games and I found Boltgun which follows in the vein of the recent resurgence of Boomer shooters with graphics of the classic 90's games like Doom and Duke Nukem. The storyline is simple enough to follow, though I admit I am again new to the lore and world. But hunting down Corrupted soldiers, monsters and unholy beasts with my Boltgun and Chainsaw is quite fun. However, as I have found with the recent resurgence of Boomer shooters either updated or somewhat remastered, and brand new IP's that follow the same formula they can be frustrating, rage inducing and at times a slog in particular I am thinking of Cultist. Once you complete a mission, or a full chapter it does feel fulfilling but then I find myself needing to take a break from these kinds of games and come back to them. The world, the lore, the soundtrack are engrossing and I do come back at times to get further to the goal of completing the game. With Forges of Corruption epilogue DLC in my library to complete, I am going to finish the entirety of the game having completed Chapter 1 of the main game. But as stated previously, I have to take breaks because it can be infuriating getting so far and yet be killed by waves of enemies and realise I haven't quick saved in time. As is the case for another boomer shooter IP Cultist, which has the same flaws yet I do understand the concept of boomer shooters especially coming from the 90's, it is waves of enemies and the search for ammunition, power ups and health packs to keep on going. Chapter 1 I believe took me in and around two or so hours to complete with each mission between 15-30 minutes each so added up it's value for money with three chapters in total, especially for Warhammer 40K fans in particular when it's on sale. But for what it is, for a die-hard fan it is worthwhile at full price or bundled with Forges of Corruption. In the first chapter alone, there have been some well-designed levels and features that you slowly get your head around and the search for a power up to even the odds with an even more powerful enemy is worthwhile and on a controller the game is enjoyable to play. Give it a go if you're a die-hard Warhammer 40K fan, or someone new to the universe but for fans of boomer shooters alone wait for it to go on sale.

Hi! Thanks for playing Captain Spins Casino. This is a really good retro-graphics boomer shooter. The gameplay is excellent - furious combat and smooth controls. I very much recommend it. I have two minor negatives. First, the pixelated graphics are intentional to reflect the style of the 1990s, but they can make enemies hard to see and identify, especially at a distance. Second, the difficulty fluctuates a lot, with a few brief difficulty spikes I couldn't get past. But, fortunately, the game also has an 'invincible' mode (in the accessibility options) than you can toggle on or off to get past these extreme difficulty areas (I've had to do that twice). The maps can also be a bit puzzling to get through, but there's a key to briefly toggle on pathing that mostly solves being lost. The maps (with the option to enable pathing) are no where near as convoluted as the original shooters from the 90s. Those minor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aside, this is a really great game. I bought the expansion and look forward to playing it, and will certainly plat Boltgun 2 some time after it's release.
