Casino Table Games

If you've been drawn to the neon glow of Fremont Street and want a casino experience that feels authentically Las Vegas without the polished corporate sheen of the Strip, Casino Table Games sits squarely at the heart of that conversation. Planted firmly in the middle of the Fremont Street Experience, this property has been part of downtown Las Vegas history since 1956, and it continues to attract gamblers who prefer a grittier, more classic vibe over the mega-resort atmosphere found a few miles south.

The Casino Table Games is operated by Boyd Gaming, one of the more established names in the regional and destination gaming space. That backing matters when you're evaluating a casino for trustworthiness, fair play, and operational standards. Boyd Gaming properties are known for running tight, professionally managed floors, and Casino Table Games benefits from that infrastructure even while retaining its old-school downtown personality.

Walking in, the casino floor itself runs about 32,000 square feet — modest by Strip standards, but genuinely buzzing with activity. The slot selection is broad, covering everything from penny machines to higher-denomination video slots with multi-line bonus features. Classic three-reel machines still have a presence here, which you don't always see in casinos that have modernized every inch of their floor. For players who grew up pulling physical levers or who just enjoy the simplicity of single-line play, that's a meaningful detail worth noting before you show up expecting wall-to-wall video terminals.

Table game coverage at Casino Table Games is solid for a downtown property. Blackjack remains the anchor, and minimum bets tend to be lower than what you'd find on the Strip, which is part of the appeal of playing downtown in the first place. If you're a recreational player working with a limited session bankroll, the ability to sit at a $5 or $10 blackjack table — when available — stretches your entertainment time considerably. Craps and roulette are also on the floor, along with a selection of poker-variant games like Three Card Poker and Mississippi Stud. These carnival-style table games have become standard across most US casino floors because they move quickly and don't require opponents, making them accessible for casual visitors who aren't deep into poker strategy.

Video poker is historically strong at Casino Table Games, and that's not a trivial point. Downtown Las Vegas has long had a reputation for offering better video poker pay tables than the Strip, and while that advantage has narrowed industry-wide over the years, Fremont still tends to run competitive paytables on Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild variants. Players who track theoretical return-to-player percentages know that selecting the right pay table on video poker — specifically full-pay versions when available — is one of the few ways a recreational player can reduce the house edge to under half a percent with correct strategy. That's a real advantage worth looking for before you sit down.

One of the practical realities of visiting Casino Table Games is its location directly beneath the Fremont Street Experience canopy. That positioning means you're always a short walk from the light shows, live entertainment, and dozens of other bars and casinos along the pedestrian mall. It creates a social energy that's difficult to replicate in isolated resort environments. You can play for an hour, step outside, grab a drink at one of the outdoor venues, catch part of a free concert, then walk back in — and that flexibility shapes the kind of visit downtown delivers compared to the Strip's more enclosed, self-contained ecosystem.

The Casino Table Games also has a hotel tower, and the room rates here consistently undercut comparable Strip properties by a meaningful margin. For gamblers who want to use Las Vegas as a base for serious play across multiple downtown casinos — places like Binion's, the Golden Nugget, the D Las Vegas, or Four Queens — staying at Casino Table Games puts you within walking distance of all of them. That convenience, combined with the price point, makes it a logical home base for the budget-conscious player who intends to spend most of their time on the casino floor rather than poolside.

Dining at Casino Table Games leans toward casual and unpretentious, which fits the overall personality of the property. The Second Street Grill has received consistent praise as the standout option, offering a more elevated dining experience than the typical casino coffee shop without demanding fine-dining prices. For quick meals between sessions, the other food options on property hit the right notes for comfort and value. Downtown Las Vegas broadly has fewer celebrity chef outposts than the Strip, but the tradeoff is food that's more accessible and less performance-driven.

The Boyd Rewards program, called B Connected, is the loyalty system that covers your play at Casino Table Games and all other Boyd Gaming properties across the country. If you already hold a B Connected card from another Boyd property — Borgata in Atlantic City, for instance, or any of their regional casinos in Nevada, Mississippi, or elsewhere — your tier status carries over. That's genuinely useful for frequent gamblers who visit multiple markets. Points accumulate on both slot play and table games, with different earn rates depending on the game type, and they can be redeemed for free play, dining credits, and hotel stays. It's worth signing up before your first session rather than after, since you can't retroactively earn credit for play before enrollment.

One thing experienced casino visitors know that newcomers often miss: the pace at which you play matters as much as the house edge. Even a game with a low theoretical house advantage will drain a bankroll quickly if you're making 600 decisions per hour at a video poker machine on autopilot. At Casino Table Games, as at any casino, setting a clear session budget before you start — and treating it as entertainment spending rather than an investment — is the single most practical piece of advice that applies across every game on the floor. The casinos that earn trust are the ones that make this easy, and Boyd Gaming properties generally offer responsible gambling resources including deposit limits, self-exclusion options, and access to support organizations like the National Problem Gambling Helpline.

The sports betting side of things is also worth mentioning. Casino Table Games operates a race and sports book, and it's a comfortable spot to watch games and place wagers during major sporting events. The seating is relaxed, the screens are plentiful, and it doesn't carry the premium-lounge exclusivity that some Strip sportsbooks project. For NFL Sundays or during March Madness, it fills up, so arriving early to claim a seat with a good sightline is a smart move. The betting options themselves are standard for a Nevada sportsbook — spread, moneyline, totals, and parlays across major US sports leagues and college football and basketball.

A word on realistic expectations: Casino Table Games is not trying to be the Bellagio. It's not competing on luxury, spectacle, or architectural grandeur. What it offers instead is authenticity, affordability, and a casino experience rooted in the version of Las Vegas that existed before mega-resorts redefined the city's identity. For a certain type of gambler — someone who finds the Strip overwhelming, overpriced, or impersonal — downtown Las Vegas generally, and Casino Table Games specifically, delivers something that actually feels like gambling rather than a theme park that happens to have slots.

If you're planning a trip to Las Vegas and debating whether to plant yourself on the Strip or explore downtown, the honest answer is that both experiences have merit and they genuinely feel different. Downtown is louder in a street-fair kind of way, cheaper in almost every measurable category, and more demographically mixed than the tourist corridor of Las Vegas Boulevard. Casino Table Games is one of the anchors that makes Fremont Street work as a destination, and it has earned its reputation through decades of consistency rather than recent renovation hype.

You must be 21 or older to gamble at Casino Table Games or any Nevada casino, and proof of age will be checked. Nevada gaming is fully regulated by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, which means the machines and table games on the floor are subject to regular audits and compliance requirements — a meaningful layer of consumer protection that distinguishes regulated brick-and-mortar casinos from unregulated alternatives. When you play at a licensed property like this one, you know the rules of the games are enforced and there's an accountable regulatory body behind the operation.

Whether you're a veteran of downtown Las Vegas returning to check whether the old-school feel has survived another decade, or a first-timer trying to figure out where to start, Casino Table Games offers an honest, accessible, and genuinely entertaining casino experience. Go in with a clear budget, know which games you want to play, take advantage of the B Connected rewards program, and give yourself time to explore the broader Fremont Street scene on either side of the casino doors. That combination makes for a Las Vegas visit that doesn't require a five-star hotel budget to be memorable.

Getting into your Casino Table Games account should be straightforward, but a few common missteps can slow things down or lock you out entirely. Whether you're logging in for the first time or returning after a break, understanding exactly how the process works — and what to do when something goes wrong — saves time and keeps your gaming experience smooth from the start.

The Casino Table Games process typically begins on the operator's official homepage. Always navigate directly to the verified URL rather than clicking through third-party links or ads you encounter elsewhere online. Phishing sites that mimic legitimate casino platforms are a real and ongoing concern in the online gambling space, so entering your credentials only on the confirmed, licensed site is a basic but critical security habit.

Once you're on the correct page, the login button is usually positioned prominently in the upper right corner of the screen. Clicking it brings up a prompt asking for your registered email address and password. These are the credentials you created when you first opened your account. If you're using a shared or public device, be especially cautious about saved passwords and auto-fill features, since these can expose your account to unauthorized access.

A strong password matters more than most players realize. For any online casino account — including your Casino Table Games — you want a password that mixes uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and at least one special character. Avoid using the same password you use for email or banking. If someone compromises one of those accounts, you don't want your casino balance to become collateral damage. Using a reputable password manager is a practical solution that many regular online gamblers rely on to maintain unique, complex credentials across multiple platforms.

Two-factor authentication, when available, adds a valuable second layer of security to your Casino Table Games. If the platform offers this feature, enabling it means that even if someone somehow obtains your password, they still can't get into your account without the secondary verification code sent to your phone or email. It takes a few extra seconds at login, but the protection it provides is well worth the minor inconvenience.

Forgotten passwords are one of the most common reasons players can't complete a Casino Table Games successfully. The standard recovery process involves clicking a

Casino Table Games has built a reputation that carries serious weight in the American sports betting market. Originally rooted in Atlantic City's iconic casino culture, the Borgata brand made a natural transition into regulated online sports wagering and has since attracted a loyal base of bettors who value a combination of competitive odds, a clean interface, and a name they recognize. If you're weighing your options among the growing number of licensed sportsbooks operating in the US, understanding exactly what Casino Table Games brings to the table — and where it falls short — is worth your time.

The brand operates under the BetMGM umbrella, which means it shares technology, odds feeds, and promotional infrastructure with one of the largest sports betting operators in North America. For bettors, this is a meaningful detail. It signals financial stability, regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and the kind of backend investment that keeps apps running smoothly during high-traffic moments like NFL Sunday or March Madness. The Borgata name serves as a market-specific identity rather than an entirely independent platform, but it carries its own distinct branding and, in some states, its own bonus offers that differ from what BetMGM runs simultaneously.

Getting started with Casino Table Games follows the standard process for any regulated US sportsbook. You'll need to be physically located in a state where it's licensed to operate, meet the minimum age requirement — typically 21 and older — and complete an identity verification process. The geo-location check happens each time you open the app, so attempting to place bets while traveling out of a licensed state won't work. This is a feature of legal, regulated books, not a bug, and it's worth understanding upfront so you're not caught off guard.

The app itself is one of the more polished offerings in the space. Navigation is intuitive enough that new sports bettors won't spend ten minutes hunting for the live betting tab, and experienced bettors will appreciate how quickly bet slips populate and odds refresh. The live betting interface is particularly well-designed — in-game wagering on major sports like NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL is fluid, with markets updating in near real time. The ability to cash out early on open bets is available on many markets, giving you a degree of control over your position that's become something of a baseline expectation among competitive sportsbooks.

On the odds side, Casino Table Games is generally competitive without being the single best option on every market. Point spreads and totals on major American sports tend to sit close to the industry standard, which is what you'd expect from a large-scale operator. Where sharp bettors sometimes find value is in player props and alternative lines, categories that have expanded significantly across the industry in recent years. Casino Table Games offers a solid variety of prop markets, particularly for NFL and NBA games, though the depth of niche sports coverage won't match some of the more specialized international-facing books. For the casual to mid-level American bettor focused primarily on domestic leagues, the market selection is more than sufficient.

The welcome bonus is one of the first things most prospective users look at, and Casino Table Games typically offers a new-user promotion tied to your first deposit or first bet. The specific structure — whether it's a deposit match, a first-bet safety net, or bonus bet credits — can shift based on current promotions and which state you're accessing the platform from. Reading the terms carefully before opting in is always smart. Pay attention to the playthrough requirement if there is one, the expiration window on any bonus bets you receive, and whether the promotion applies to specific bet types or markets. A bonus bet that expires in five days and only counts toward parlay wagers is a very different offer from one that applies freely to any straight bet at standard odds.

Ongoing promotions at Casino Table Games include parlay boosts, odds boosts on featured games, and occasional loyalty-based rewards for frequent bettors. The rewards program integrates with MGM's broader loyalty ecosystem, which means your wagering activity can contribute toward perks at MGM-affiliated properties — a genuine differentiator for bettors who also travel or visit brick-and-mortar casinos. For someone who regularly spends time at MGM or Borgata properties in person, this cross-platform value is real and tangible in a way that doesn't apply at purely digital-native sportsbooks.

Banking is a practical concern that doesn't get enough attention in sportsbook reviews. Casino Table Games supports a solid range of deposit and withdrawal methods, including major credit and debit cards, PayPal, online bank transfer, and in some states, cash deposits via PayNearMe at retail locations. Withdrawal times vary by method — e-wallet options tend to process faster than direct bank transfers, and paper checks take the longest. One thing worth knowing: some debit and credit card transactions at gambling sites are coded in a way that issuers occasionally decline. If you run into a declined card, it's usually worth trying a different payment method rather than assuming the sportsbook has a technical issue.

Customer support at Casino Table Games is available through live chat and email, with live chat being the faster and more practical route for time-sensitive issues like a missing deposit or a voided bet you want explained. Response quality in the live chat tends to be adequate for standard questions, though complex account issues sometimes require escalation and additional wait time. This is not unique to Casino Table Games — it's a known friction point across most large-scale online sportsbooks — but it's worth setting expectations accordingly.

One area where Casino Table Games and its parent infrastructure genuinely stand out is regulatory credibility. Operating under licenses issued by state gaming authorities means the platform is subject to oversight, auditing, and consumer protection standards that unregulated offshore sites simply don't face. Your funds are held in accordance with state requirements, disputes have a formal resolution process, and the odds are subject to transparency rules. For anyone who has ever dealt with the frustration of an offshore book freezing a withdrawal or disputing a winning ticket with no recourse available, this structural difference is enormous. Sticking to licensed operators isn't just a legal concern — it's a practical one that protects your money.

The desktop experience on Casino Table Games mirrors the mobile app closely, which is useful for bettors who prefer placing larger or more complex wagers on a full screen. Building multi-leg parlays is slightly more comfortable with a keyboard and larger display, and the bet slip management tools are easier to navigate. That said, most American sports bettors are primarily mobile users, and the iOS and Android apps are clearly where the development attention is focused.

It's worth addressing one of the more common misconceptions new bettors bring to any sportsbook: the idea that a larger, more well-known platform somehow means better odds or guaranteed winning outcomes. Brand recognition is a proxy for reliability and user experience, not a signal about the underlying probability of any given wager. Every sports bet carries risk. The house maintains a margin — often called the vig or juice — built into the odds on both sides of every market. Over a large enough sample, this margin works against the bettor. Approaching sports wagering as entertainment with a defined budget, rather than as a consistent income source, is the mindset that keeps the experience enjoyable rather than stressful. Setting deposit limits through the platform's responsible gambling tools is a practical step that the platform supports and that any bettor would be wise to use.

Compared to competitors operating in the same states, Casino Table Games sits comfortably in the upper tier without necessarily dominating any single category. It's not the sportsbook with the deepest international soccer markets. It's not always the one with the most aggressive new-user bonus structure. But it combines a trustworthy brand, a smooth product, competitive pricing on mainstream American sports, and the cross-platform benefits of the MGM loyalty ecosystem into a package that makes genuine sense for a wide range of bettors. If you're already in the MGM rewards world or you prioritize a stable, well-regulated app over chasing the highest single-day bonus, Casino Table Games is a legitimate, competitive choice among US legal sports betting options.

Before signing up anywhere, confirm that the platform is currently licensed in your state, verify the current bonus terms directly on the site rather than relying on third-party summaries, and make sure you understand the withdrawal process before your first deposit. Those three steps will save you most of the frustration that new sportsbook users commonly experience, regardless of which regulated platform they choose.

Mobile wagering has completely changed the way Americans engage with sports. Instead of driving to a casino or calling a bookie, millions of fans now place their wagers from the couch, the stadium, or the commute home — all through a Casino Table Games. But not every platform is created equal, and choosing the wrong one can mean dealing with slow payouts, limited markets, or questionable licensing. Understanding what separates a quality mobile sportsbook from a frustrating one makes all the difference before you deposit a single dollar.

When you decide to Casino Table Games, the first and most important factor is licensing. Legitimate mobile sportsbooks operating in the United States must hold valid licenses in the states where they accept wagers. These licenses are issued by state gaming commissions or lottery boards, and they ensure that the operator meets strict standards for fairness, data security, and financial responsibility. If a platform doesn't clearly display its licensing information, that's a red flag you should take seriously. Regulated operators are accountable; offshore or unlicensed apps are not.

The legal landscape for mobile sports betting in the US varies widely by state. Some states have fully embraced both online and in-person wagering, while others permit retail only or haven't legalized it at all. Before you download any Casino Table Games, confirm that mobile sports betting is legal and active in your state. Most legitimate platforms use geolocation technology to verify that you're physically located within a permitted state at the time of placing a bet, even if you registered your account elsewhere. This isn't a glitch — it's a compliance requirement.

Once you've confirmed legal availability, the next step is comparing the actual features of the apps you're considering. A high-quality Casino Table Games should load quickly, navigate intuitively, and let you place bets without multiple confusing steps. The best platforms offer clean interfaces whether you're on iOS or Android, with clearly labeled bet slips, real-time odds updates, and easy access to your account balance and bet history. If an app feels clunky during a free trial or demo, it'll feel worse when you're trying to get a bet in before kickoff.

Odds quality is one of the most underappreciated factors when choosing where to Casino Table Games. The difference between -110 and -115 on a standard point spread might seem small on a single wager, but it adds up significantly over dozens of bets. Sharp bettors regularly compare lines across multiple platforms — a practice called line shopping — to make sure they're getting the best available number. Some apps are consistently competitive on NFL and NBA lines but lag on niche sports like MMA or golf. If you follow a specific sport closely, check how that app handles those markets before committing.

Bet types are another major consideration. A quality Casino Table Games should offer far more than basic moneylines and spreads. Look for platforms that provide same-game parlays, player props, live in-game wagering, futures markets, teasers, and alternate lines. In-game betting in particular has become enormously popular because it lets you react to what's actually happening on the field rather than locking in a position before the opening whistle. Not all apps handle live betting equally well — some update odds smoothly and quickly while others lag or suspend markets too frequently.

Deposit and withdrawal options deserve careful attention before you commit. A trustworthy Casino Table Games will offer multiple funding methods, commonly including credit and debit cards, PayPal, online bank transfers, and sometimes even cash options at physical partner locations. Withdrawals are where some platforms fall short — slow processing times, high minimums, or limited payout methods can be genuinely frustrating. Look for apps that publish clear timelines for withdrawals and that have a track record of paying out without unnecessary delays or documentation hurdles.

Welcome bonuses are prominently advertised by nearly every Casino Table Games, and while they can provide real value, they require careful reading. A first-bet insurance offer of several hundred dollars sounds appealing, but the terms often require you to meet rollover requirements or use site credit rather than cash. Odds boosts, parlay insurance, and loyalty programs can genuinely add value for regular bettors, but only if you understand exactly how they work. Never choose a platform solely for the bonus. A generous promotion attached to a poor user experience or slow payouts isn't worth it.

Customer support is easy to overlook until something goes wrong with your account. A bet that didn't process correctly, a withdrawal that's taking too long, or a login issue during a live event can be genuinely stressful. The better Casino Table Games platforms offer 24/7 support through live chat, and they respond quickly with knowledgeable agents rather than scripted responses. Check app store reviews specifically for support feedback — that tends to be where real-world experience with customer service shows up most honestly.

Security is non-negotiable when real money is involved. Any Casino Table Games worth your time will use strong encryption to protect your personal and financial data, and it will require identity verification as part of account setup. This Know Your Customer process might feel like a minor hassle initially, but it's both a legal requirement and a sign that the operator takes fraud prevention seriously. Enable two-factor authentication if the app offers it, and never share your login credentials with anyone.

Promotions beyond the welcome offer can provide ongoing value if you're a regular user. Many top platforms run weekly profit boosts, reload bonuses, and refer-a-friend offers. Some have tiered loyalty programs that reward consistent bettors with enhanced odds or cashback on losses. These benefits add up if you're using the same Casino Table Games regularly, but always weigh them against the overall quality of the platform. A mediocre app with frequent promotions is still a mediocre app.

One practical habit that experienced sports bettors develop is maintaining accounts on two or three different licensed apps simultaneously. This makes line shopping straightforward — when you want to place a bet, you quickly check which platform has the best price and place it there. It also means you're never locked out of betting on a particular sport or market because one app suspended lines or had technical issues. Most platforms don't penalize you for having accounts elsewhere, and keeping your bankroll spread across a few trusted apps is actually a smart approach to managing your money.

Bankroll management is a topic that doesn't get nearly enough attention in conversations about mobile sports betting. Regardless of which Casino Table Games you use, setting a clear budget before you start is essential. Decide in advance how much you're comfortable risking over a week or a month, and stick to it. Avoid chasing losses by placing larger bets to recover what you've dropped — that's how small setbacks become significant problems. Most legitimate apps include tools that let you set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits, and using those features is a sign of disciplined, sustainable wagering.

Sports betting is best approached as a form of entertainment with an associated cost, not as a reliable income stream. The platforms you find when you Casino Table Games are profitable businesses precisely because they hold a built-in edge on every market. That doesn't mean you can't have winning sessions or that skill plays no role — knowledgeable bettors can certainly make smarter decisions than casual ones — but expecting consistent profit over time sets unrealistic expectations. Enjoy the engagement it adds to watching games, treat it as recreational spending, and you'll have a much healthier experience overall.

If you ever feel that your betting habits are becoming difficult to control, every licensed Casino Table Games platform is required to provide responsible gambling resources, including self-exclusion options and links to support organizations. The National Council on Problem Gambling operates a helpline that connects people with local resources, and most state gaming commissions maintain their own assistance programs. Using these tools is a sign of self-awareness, not weakness.

The mobile sports betting space in the US has matured significantly over the past several years, and the best platforms today offer a genuinely impressive experience — fast apps, competitive odds, broad markets, and solid customer service. The key is doing enough homework upfront to identify the licensed, reputable operators in your state rather than defaulting to whatever app has the most aggressive advertising. When you take the time to Casino Table Games on a platform that's trustworthy, well-designed, and suited to how you actually wager, the entire experience is more enjoyable and far less likely to result in preventable frustrations.
A brilliant first impression paves the way for a repetitive grind that seemingly never ends.
Opinions are divided on Boltgun online, but when you first boot-up the game you’ll probably think “Hey, this is pretty good!”. The art design is gorgeous and feels like a remaster of Squad Command, the outrageously underrated PSP tactics game. The huge number of detailed, handcrafted assets build out the world, and the environments change colour regularly to keep things visually fresh. One of my favourite visual details is the idle animation: where your Space Marine character will pull out his Codex Astartes, a mix between the bible and The Art of War, and begins flipping through the pages. The very first weapon - the titular Boltgun - feels like it could punch a hole through a shipping container. Ammo is plentiful and many enemies will simply explode the moment a bullet touches them. The controls are tight too, despite commanding the space hulk, much like driving a high powered supercar. The look and feel of Boltgun is absolutely spot on. Sadly, the tedium begins to set in before the first chapter is over. There are hundreds of enemies crammed into each level, and fighting them isn’t particularly engaging. Enemies will either blow up into red mist immediately upon touching you, or take enough boltgun bullets to maim a horse. Bullet sponge enemies get increasingly tiresome as the game throws more and more at you, making each corridor last longer than the previous, slowing the pacing to a crawl. By chapter 2 it seemed unfeasible to even attempt killing every enemy in a level, and I just began sprinting through each stage only shooting what I needed to progress. Enemies aren’t placed in interesting positions - just spammed everywhere. This lack of intentionality is most keenly felt in the level design. Boltgun’s levels feel like a handful of assets thrown into a blender and the end result emptied onto a 2D map. Barrels are randomly placed in corners of the map, there are very few puzzles at all, and secrets are indistinguishable from regular armour and weapon pick-ups that you’ll encounter naturally. There’s also no downtime either - it’s constant waves of enemies until you’re onto the next. Every level, stage and chapter is too long for its own good, and everything is cluttered with things for things-sake. Boltgun is a good first draft of a game. The artists have done a fantastic job building the W40K universe and, mechanically, Boltgun is sound. Serious work needs to be done on the pacing and mission variety, however, if the sequel is to interest me. We need lower enemy counts, more interesting level design, and the introduction of meaningful downtime to create the game this ought to be.

If this came out as a TC for GZ Doom in 2012 it would have torn the world asunder. Boomer shooters are so well made now that the bar has been raised to an unfair degree. Boltgun is good where greatness is a basic pre requisite, and standing between titles like Turbo Overkill and Ion Fury can make even the Warhammer aesthetic look a little bland and unseasoned. When it comes down to it, Boltgun isn't in the top five boomer shooters to have come out since 2016, and by the time 2030 rolls around, it probably wont be in the top ten either. That said, none of that makes it bad. Boltgun looks great. It plays a little floaty, weapons are hit or miss when it comes to crunch and long term memorability. The titular and titillating boltgun cant be upstaged but the chainsword and plasma rifle put their best effort into trying. The Vortex grenades are among the best grenades the genre has ever produced. Monsters teleport in way to frequently. The level design leans towards the arena shooter style a little to frequently. If you want a Warhammer themed Doom clone that has the grizzly stench of Ultramarine SPHESS Marines (RIP Tim Curry) all over it, this is your stop. In general I think Warhammer videogames need to start drifting away from the Ultramarines. Primarch Robot Gorillaman and his blueberries may be that franchises resident Mary Sueperman and I'm sure it does the numbers, but they are a very vanilla flavor of Warhammer where 72 other flavors also exist. Letting Total Warhammer run amok across the classic Warhammer Fantasy universe proved that a commodity that Games Workshop undervalued to the point of cancelling is still worth multiple hundreds of millions. I think they could have a few more lucrative wake up calls if they made a few more campaigns featuring some of the more interesting factions and more obscure weapons.
