Grand Rush Casino

Finding an online casino that lets you get started with almost nothing sounds like a dream, and for players who are cautious about committing real money right away, a Grand Rush Casino offer can feel like the perfect entry point. These promotions have been around in European markets for years, but American players browsing international casino sites are increasingly running into them and wondering whether they're worth pursuing. The short answer is that it depends heavily on where you're located, which operator you're considering, and what you actually expect to get out of a one-dollar minimum deposit.

A Grand Rush Casino promotion is essentially what it sounds like: an online casino allows you to make a deposit of just one euro — roughly equivalent to one US dollar at most exchange rates — and still qualify for some kind of welcome bonus or promotional offer. The appeal is obvious. You're risking very little of your own money while still gaining access to bonus funds, free spins, or other incentives that would normally require a more substantial commitment. However, there's quite a bit happening beneath the surface that players should understand before jumping in.

First, it's important to address the regulatory reality for US-based players. Most Grand Rush Casino casinos are licensed and based in jurisdictions like Malta, Gibraltar, Curaçao, or the Isle of Man. These are legitimate regulatory environments for players in European countries, but they don't carry legal weight within the United States. In the US, online gambling is regulated on a state-by-state basis, and only a handful of states have authorized and licensed real-money online casino play. If you're located in a state where online casino gambling hasn't been legalized, playing on an offshore site — even one with a legitimate European license — puts you in a legally gray area at best. Always check your state's current gambling laws before depositing anywhere, and stick to operators that hold valid licenses from recognized US regulatory authorities where they exist.

For players in states where licensed online casinos operate legally, the concept of a low minimum deposit is still very much relevant, even if the currency involved is US dollars rather than euros. Many regulated American-facing casinos have adopted competitive minimum deposit thresholds in recent years, with some allowing deposits as low as $5 or $10. The driving philosophy behind Grand Rush Casino offers — that players shouldn't have to risk a lot to explore a new platform — has influenced how US-licensed operators structure their welcome packages. So even if you're not accessing a euro-denominated site, the spirit of the low-deposit approach is very much present in the modern American market.

When evaluating any low minimum deposit casino, the most important thing to look at isn't the deposit threshold itself — it's the bonus terms attached to it. This is where players frequently get tripped up. A Grand Rush Casino bonus might advertise something like 100 free spins or a 200% deposit match, which sounds extraordinary for a one-dollar investment. But bonuses like this almost always come with wagering requirements, and on a deposit of just one euro, those requirements can be disproportionately difficult to meet. A 40x wagering requirement on a $20 bonus means you'd need to wager $800 before withdrawing anything. That kind of playthrough can be genuinely challenging depending on your budget and the games available.

Game restrictions are another layer that players often overlook. Many casinos specify which games contribute toward clearing a wagering requirement. Slot machines typically contribute 100%, while table games like blackjack or roulette may contribute only 10% or sometimes nothing at all. If you're primarily a table game player, a free spin-heavy bonus tied to specific slot titles might offer you very limited real value. Reading the full terms and conditions before depositing — tedious as it sounds — is genuinely the most useful thing you can do when chasing a promotional offer of this type.

Withdrawal limits are also worth scrutinizing. Some Grand Rush Casino bonus structures cap the amount you can actually withdraw from your winnings at a relatively low figure, sometimes as little as $20 to $50 regardless of how much you accumulated during your play. This means that even if you experience a strong run on a slot with a low deposit and bonus play, you might not be able to take home the full balance you've built. These limits exist because casinos have to manage the financial exposure of offering bonuses to players who invest almost nothing upfront. It's not necessarily a sign of a dishonest operator, but it is something you need to factor into whether the offer is genuinely worth your time.

Payment methods can create additional friction. Euro-denominated casinos primarily cater to players using European banking systems, and if you're in the US, you may find that your preferred payment options — domestic credit cards, US-based bank transfers, or American-friendly e-wallets — aren't supported. Currency conversion fees can also eat into a very small deposit, making a one-euro deposit effectively cost more than one dollar once transaction fees are factored in. Some US players use cryptocurrency to navigate these limitations, which does work on certain international platforms, but again, you should only be doing this through licensed, trustworthy operators in jurisdictions where it's legal for you to play.

The experience of playing at a Grand Rush Casino casino is genuinely useful for one specific purpose: testing the platform before making a larger financial commitment. If you're unfamiliar with a casino brand and you want to explore the software, the game library, the customer support responsiveness, and the overall user experience, depositing a minimal amount is a reasonable way to do that. You get a realistic sense of how the platform performs under real-money conditions — something free play simply doesn't replicate — without meaningful financial risk. This is the strongest legitimate argument for low-deposit casino play.

That said, players should approach this type of promotion with clear-eyed expectations. You are almost certainly not going to generate significant winnings from a one-dollar investment, and any suggestion that you can routinely profit from minimum-deposit bonuses should be taken skeptically. The math of casino games always favors the house over time, and no promotional structure changes that fundamental reality. The games are entertaining, and the bonus can extend your playtime, but treating it as a potential income strategy leads players toward unrealistic expectations and, at its worst, problematic gambling behavior.

Responsible gambling practices are particularly important when you're dealing with promotional offers designed to minimize your upfront commitment. Low barriers to entry can make it feel easier to rationalize playing more frequently or at more sites simultaneously. Setting a clear personal budget — separate from any bonus funds — and treating online casino play as a form of entertainment rather than a financial tool is the healthiest approach. Most reputable licensed casinos offer deposit limits, session timers, and self-exclusion options. Using these tools isn't a sign of weakness; it's a sign that you're approaching gambling intelligently. If gambling ever starts to feel like something you can't control, organizations like the National Council on Problem Gambling (1-800-522-4700) offer free, confidential support.

If you're specifically hunting for low minimum deposit options in a regulated US market, the landscape has improved considerably in recent years. Several state-licensed online casinos have reduced their minimum deposit requirements in response to competition, and some offer introductory promotions for new players that function similarly to the Grand Rush Casino concept — allowing modest initial deposits paired with bonus credits or free play. These offers go through state regulatory review, which means the terms are more transparent and the operator is accountable to a domestic licensing authority. That accountability matters significantly when it comes to disputes, withdrawals, and fair play guarantees.

Comparing casinos before depositing anything is a practice that rewards patient players. Look at the bonus terms in full, check third-party reviews from trusted iGaming publications, verify the licensing information displayed on the casino's website, and test the customer support channel with a question before you deposit. A casino that responds promptly, accurately, and professionally to a pre-deposit inquiry is a much stronger bet for fair treatment once your money is involved.

The Grand Rush Casino concept ultimately reflects something real and reasonable about player psychology: people want to explore before they commit. That instinct is healthy and smart. Whether you're looking at a European-facing casino with a one-euro minimum or a US-licensed platform with a comparable low-deposit threshold, the principles for evaluating the offer remain the same. Understand the bonus terms completely, verify the operator's licensing credentials, confirm that real-money online gambling is legal in your state, and play within a budget you've set deliberately. Done right, a low minimum deposit casino can be a low-risk way to discover platforms you might genuinely enjoy for years to come.

Grand Rush Casino is a name that turns up frequently in online searches, especially among American players looking for new places to gamble on the internet. Whether you've stumbled across it through an ad, a referral, or a casual web search, it's worth taking a careful, informed look before you deposit a single dollar. Not every casino operating under a compelling name delivers a compelling experience, and in the increasingly crowded world of online gambling, distinguishing legitimate platforms from questionable ones is a skill every player needs.

For US-based players in particular, the stakes around choosing an online casino go beyond just finding the best bonus. Because online gambling regulations vary significantly from state to state, the licensing status, banking options, and customer support quality of any platform you use matter enormously. A site that works fine for players in one jurisdiction might be restricted, unlicensed, or entirely off-limits in another. That reality shapes everything about how American players should evaluate Grand Rush Casino or any similar platform.

One of the first things any serious player should check is where a casino holds its license. Reputable online casinos operating in the United States are licensed either by individual state gaming control boards — such as those in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, or Connecticut — or, in offshore cases, by recognized international regulators like the Malta Gaming Authority or the UK Gambling Commission. A license from one of these bodies means the operator has been vetted, is subject to regular audits, and is held to standards around game fairness, data security, and responsible gambling practices. If Grand Rush Casino or any casino you're evaluating cannot clearly display its licensing information, that is a serious red flag worth taking seriously.

Game variety is typically one of the biggest draws for any online casino, and it's an area where players reasonably expect a lot. Modern players want access to a wide range of slot titles, table games like blackjack and roulette, video poker variants, and increasingly, live dealer experiences that replicate the atmosphere of a land-based casino through real-time video streaming. The software providers behind a casino's games matter too. Names like Evolution Gaming, NetEnt, IGT, and Pragmatic Play are widely recognized in the industry for producing certified, fair games. If a casino relies on unknown or unverifiable software providers, the integrity of the games themselves may be in question.

When evaluating Grand Rush Casino, it's reasonable to ask whether the games it offers are developed by reputable studios and whether those games are certified by independent testing labs like eCOGRA or GLI. These labs test random number generators and return-to-player rates, giving players objective assurance that the outcomes of games are not manipulated. Without that kind of third-party verification, any casino's claims about fairness are essentially unverifiable marketing language.

Bonuses are another major point of comparison for online casino players, and they deserve scrutiny that goes well beyond the headline number. A casino advertising a $1,000 welcome bonus sounds attractive on the surface, but what matters is the wagering requirement attached to it. A 40x or 50x playthrough requirement means you'd need to wager $40,000 to $50,000 before you can withdraw anything derived from that bonus. That's a figure that most casual players will never realistically hit. The best bonuses pair a reasonable match percentage with manageable wagering terms, clear expiration windows, and transparent game contribution rules that tell you exactly how much each game type counts toward clearing the requirement. Reading the full terms and conditions before claiming any offer isn't optional — it's essential.

Deposit and withdrawal options are often underestimated by new players until a problem arises. US players typically have a narrower range of banking choices than players in Europe or elsewhere, largely because of the complex legal environment surrounding financial transactions related to online gambling in America. Credit and debit cards, ACH transfers, PayPal, and casino-specific prepaid options like Play+ tend to be the most commonly supported methods at legitimate US-facing sites. Cryptocurrency has also grown as an option, particularly at offshore casinos, though players should understand that using crypto doesn't eliminate financial risk and may complicate the process of disputing transactions. Always verify that your preferred banking method is supported before creating an account, and pay attention to stated withdrawal timelines — a casino that takes three weeks to process a payout is a frustrating experience no matter how good the games are.

Customer support is another area where online casinos reveal a great deal about how seriously they take player satisfaction. A trustworthy platform offers multiple contact channels — live chat, email, and ideally phone support — and responds to inquiries in a timely, substantive way. If support is only available during limited hours, if responses are canned and unhelpful, or if there's no easy way to escalate a complaint, those are signs of a platform that may not have robust operational infrastructure. Before depositing, it's actually worth testing a casino's support with a general question just to gauge response quality and speed.

The mobile experience deserves attention as well. A large portion of online casino play now happens on smartphones and tablets, and a casino that hasn't invested in a smooth, responsive mobile interface will frustrate players quickly. Some casinos offer dedicated apps, while others rely on mobile-optimized browser versions. Either can work well if the design and functionality are solid, but a clunky mobile experience with slow load times, disappearing game sessions, or finicky navigation often suggests the platform hasn't kept pace with modern player expectations.

Responsible gambling tools are a meaningful marker of how seriously a casino takes its players' well-being, not just their deposits. Legitimate, regulated casinos offer features like deposit limits, session time reminders, self-exclusion options, and links to resources like the National Problem Gambling Helpline. The presence of these tools isn't just a regulatory checkbox — it reflects a genuine commitment to ensuring that gambling remains a form of entertainment rather than a source of financial harm. If a casino makes these tools hard to find or difficult to use, that omission speaks volumes. Gambling should always be approached with a clear budget in mind and treated as entertainment spending, not as a strategy for generating income.

One practical thing US players often overlook is the importance of verifying their identity early in the account process, rather than waiting until a withdrawal request triggers a KYC (Know Your Customer) review. Most reputable casinos require identity verification at some point, and it's far less stressful to handle it proactively — by uploading a government-issued ID and proof of address during registration — than to encounter a hold on your winnings because you haven't completed it yet. A casino that allows unlimited deposits without ever asking for identity documentation should actually raise more concern than one that asks for it upfront.

It's also worth understanding how Grand Rush Casino or any offshore casino handles player disputes. In states with regulated online gambling, disputes can be escalated to the relevant state gaming authority, which has real enforcement power. At offshore casinos, players typically have fewer formal protections, and dispute resolution often depends on internal complaint processes or the policies of whichever offshore regulator issued the license. This doesn't mean offshore casinos are inherently untrustworthy, but it does mean players should research operator reputation, read player forums and reviews, and exercise more caution before committing substantial funds.

For American players trying to assess whether Grand Rush Casino is worth their time and money, the checklist ultimately comes down to a few core questions: Is the platform properly licensed and regulated? Are the games certified by independent testing authorities? Are the bonus terms fair and transparent? Do the available banking methods suit your needs, and are withdrawals processed in a reasonable timeframe? Is there meaningful responsible gambling infrastructure in place? And does the platform have a verifiable track record of treating players fairly? Affirmative answers across that list suggest a platform worth considering. Gaps or evasions in any of those areas are worth treating as warning signs.

The online casino landscape in the United States is still evolving rapidly, with more states moving toward regulated markets and more operators competing aggressively for player attention. That's largely good news for players, because competition tends to drive better products, more generous offers, and higher service standards. But it also means more noise to cut through, more marketing language to decode, and more operators willing to make promises that the fine print doesn't support. Whether you're looking at Grand Rush Casino specifically or evaluating any online casino, the players who do best are the ones who research before they play, set clear limits on how much they're willing to spend, and treat every session as entertainment first — and a potential win second.

If you're looking for a Grand Rush Casino, you're working with a specific set of options shaped by California's unique gambling landscape. Bakersfield sits in Kern County in the southern San Joaquin Valley, and while it isn't Las Vegas, it does have legitimate tribal gaming facilities nearby that offer real casino experiences for adults who meet the legal age requirements. Understanding what's available, what to expect, and how to make the most of your visit takes a little local knowledge — and that's exactly what this guide delivers.

California's gambling scene operates differently from states like Nevada or New Jersey. The state permits tribal casinos on sovereign Native American lands under compacts negotiated with the state government. This means the casinos you'll find in and around Bakersfield are operated by federally recognized tribes and are fully licensed under those tribal-state gaming compacts. They're legal, regulated, and subject to oversight — which matters a great deal if you care about fair play and responsible operations. You won't find commercially operated Las Vegas-style megaresorts here, but you will find legitimate gaming floors with slots, table games, and sometimes poker rooms.

The most prominent option when searching for a Grand Rush Casino is Tejon Indian Tribe's facility and a few others within driving distance of the city. Specific properties attract Bakersfield locals and visitors from across Kern County for their slot machines, video poker, and live table game action. The drive from central Bakersfield to the nearest tribal gaming facilities is manageable — typically under an hour in most cases — which makes them a realistic option for an evening out or a weekend trip rather than a major travel commitment.

When you walk into any gaming facility in the region, you should expect the standard entry requirements. You must be at least 21 years old to gamble, and you'll need a valid government-issued photo ID at the door. Tribal casinos take age verification seriously, so don't leave your ID at home. Most facilities also maintain their own codes of conduct and reserve the right to refuse entry or remove guests who violate house rules. This is standard across regulated gaming operations in the United States, and the casinos in California's tribal gaming system are no exception.

Slot machines are typically the centerpiece of any Grand Rush Casino floor, and that holds true for the facilities serving the Bakersfield area. You'll find a wide variety of machines ranging from penny slots to higher-denomination options, with themes spanning classic reels, modern video slots, and licensed branded games featuring popular entertainment properties. Tribal gaming machines in California operate under the terms of the tribal-state compacts, which establish minimum and maximum payout thresholds, though specific return-to-player figures aren't always publicly disclosed the way they are in some commercial markets. Treat slot play as entertainment with a budget, not as a strategy for income generation.

Table games at regional tribal casinos often include blackjack, baccarat, and various poker variants. Some facilities also offer games like three-card poker, pai gow poker, and other house-banked alternatives. One thing worth noting about California tribal casinos specifically: due to state law, traditional house-banked blackjack isn't always structured exactly like what you'd encounter in Las Vegas. Some California casinos use a player-banker rotation system to comply with state regulations, which can feel slightly unfamiliar if you're used to standard Nevada-style blackjack. It doesn't significantly change basic strategy, but it's worth knowing ahead of time so you're not caught off guard.

Poker rooms are a major draw for many California casino visitors, and some of the facilities accessible from Bakersfield offer dedicated poker rooms with cash games and tournaments. California has a well-established poker culture, and if that's your game, you can typically find action at multiple stakes levels. Low-limit hold'em games are common and accessible for recreational players, while higher-stakes tables exist for more experienced players. If you're planning to sit in on a poker session, bring more than your minimum buy-in and approach it with patience — live poker runs at its own pace.

Beyond the gaming floor, a quality Grand Rush Casino experience often depends on the surrounding amenities. Many tribal gaming facilities have invested significantly in their food and beverage offerings, including buffets, casual dining restaurants, bars, and sometimes upscale dining options. Entertainment programming — live music, comedy shows, boxing events — is also a feature at some regional properties, making them viable destinations for a full evening even if gambling isn't your only interest. Hotel accommodations may or may not be available at every property, so if you're planning to stay overnight, check ahead and book early, especially on weekends.

Loyalty and rewards programs are standard practice at most regulated casinos, including tribal facilities. Signing up for a player's club card is generally free and earns you points as you play, which can be redeemed for free play credits, dining discounts, hotel stays, or event tickets depending on the property. If you plan to visit more than once, enrolling makes practical sense. That said, don't let the pursuit of loyalty points encourage you to spend more than you intended — the rewards are a nice perk, not a reason to extend your session beyond your planned budget.

One practical consideration when planning your visit to a Grand Rush Casino: parking and transportation. Most tribal casino properties in California offer ample free parking, and some run shuttle services from designated pickup points in nearby cities. If you're going out with a group and plan to drink, using a designated driver or a rideshare service is strongly recommended. Driving impaired is dangerous and illegal regardless of how short the trip home seems.

California also has a growing online gambling conversation, though at the time of this writing, the state has not legalized regulated online casino gaming for real money. Online poker and casino-style apps do exist, but players should exercise caution — unlicensed offshore gambling sites operate in a legal gray area and offer none of the consumer protections that licensed, regulated facilities provide. For Bakersfield residents interested in legal real-money gaming, sticking to licensed tribal properties in person remains the clearest, safest path. That landscape could evolve as California continues debating its online gaming policy, so it's worth staying informed about regulatory developments if this is relevant to you.

Sports betting is another area where California's rules differ from many other US states. California voters have had the opportunity to weigh in on sports betting legalization through ballot measures, but as of recent years, statewide legal sports wagering has not launched in the way it has in states like New Jersey, Colorado, or Illinois. Some tribal casinos in California do offer sports betting under specific arrangements, but availability varies. If sports wagering is part of what you're looking for from a Grand Rush Casino experience, check the specific property's offerings before making the drive.

For players who are newer to casino gaming, a few general principles go a long way. Set a firm budget before you walk in and treat it as the cost of entertainment — not seed money you expect to recover. Games of chance don't have memory, and streaks, hot machines, or gut feelings are not reliable predictors of future outcomes. The house maintains a mathematical edge on every game it offers, which is how casinos remain in business. Understanding this going in takes the pressure off and makes the experience more enjoyable. Play games you understand, at limits you're comfortable with, and stop when your session budget is spent.

Responsible gambling resources are available if gaming ever starts to feel less like fun and more like a compulsion. The California Office of Problem Gambling offers confidential help, and the national helpline (1-800-522-4700) connects people with counselors any time of day. Self-exclusion programs are available at tribal gaming facilities for players who want to take a break or set firmer limits. There's no shame in using these tools — they exist precisely because gambling, like many forms of entertainment, can become problematic for some people, and the industry is obligated to provide support.

Finding a solid Grand Rush Casino experience comes down to knowing where to go, what to expect from the regional tribal gaming options, and how to approach a casino visit with realistic expectations and a clear budget. The facilities in and around Bakersfield offer genuine gaming entertainment for adults in a regulated, legal environment. Whether you're there for the slots, the table games, the poker room, or a night out with good food and live music, knowing what you're walking into makes the whole experience smoother and more enjoyable. Do a bit of research on the specific property before your visit, sign up for the players club, set your limit, and focus on the entertainment value of the experience rather than outcomes you can't control.

parts of Africa. These are genuinely strong product features, and it's easy to understand why the brand has grown so rapidly in its home market.

For American players, though, the core issue isn't whether Grand Rush Casino has a good product. The issue is jurisdiction. Legal online sports betting in the United States is regulated at the state level following the 2018 Supreme Court decision in Murphy v. National Collegiate Athletic Association, which struck down the federal ban on sports betting outside Nevada. Since then, more than 30 states have passed legislation authorizing some form of legal sports wagering. Each of those states requires operators to obtain a license from that state's gaming commission or lottery authority before accepting bets from residents. Grand Rush Casino holds no such US state licenses, which means it is not a legal option for American bettors regardless of how straightforward the signup process might appear online.

Boltgun (as I just like to call it) feels like it wants to be a more modern shooter with a lot of classic elements. Mostly it succeeds in this and the game is fun to play. There do however seem to be some balancing issues. Not sure if it is just me but sometimes it feels like your health and armor drain a bit too fast from damage. Also the amount of damage some guns do sometimes doesn't really make sense. These both definitely DON'T break the game, but it is noticable. The last nitpick I have is with the enemies. Most if not all "standard" human looking enemies feel like meat for the grinder. They don't need a lot of shots to kill and I can honestly not really notice much difference in lifebars. Their "champion" buddies however are straight up bullet sponges and will need a lot more shots to get killed. This is the vibe I get with most types of enemies. They are either meat for the grinder or kinda annoying bullet sponges that feel like they take way too long to kill. Using grenades helps but you only have a few before you run out. This also does NOT break the game but, again, is noticable. All in all it is a fun game that does give you the feeling that you are playing a more modern shooter with retro vibes... or maybe a retro shooter with modern vibes? The action is fast paced and usually quite satisfying. Just beware of some levels that have "cheap deaths". Happened to me twice. Not a problem at all but to me it felt like it added literally nothing to the gameplay. Once you progress in the game you will also get newer and stronger weapons which offer nice variation. Bosses are basically just bullet sponges that spawn smaller enemies. Like... all of them. There was only one boss that was more challenging because it was able to shoot a beam that I could not dodge, no matter what I tried. Get it for a good price and it will give you a few hours of fun. Just keep in mind that the optimization is not the best if you ask me.

What’s new

Grand Rush Casino has been drawing attention from online gambling enthusiasts across the United States, and for good reason. Whether you stumbled across it through a search, saw it mentioned in a forum, or heard about it from a fellow player, it's worth taking a careful, grounded look at what this platform actually offers before you deposit a single dollar. In the crowded world of online gambling, flashy branding and generous welcome bonuses are everywhere — what matters most is whether the experience holds up under scrutiny.

The first thing any serious player should examine before signing up anywhere is licensing and regulatory standing. A legitimate online casino operating in the US market, or targeting American players, should be able to clearly demonstrate which jurisdiction has licensed and regulated it. Reputable licensing bodies include the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission, and for US-facing operations, state-level regulators in places like New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia, where real-money online casino gaming has been legalized. If Grand Rush Casino operates in any of these markets, that's a meaningful signal of accountability. If the licensing information is buried, vague, or absent entirely, that's a serious red flag no player should overlook.

Beyond licensing, the software powering an online casino tells you a lot about what kind of experience you can expect. Top-tier platforms partner with established game developers like NetEnt, IGT, Everi, Aristocrat, and Pragmatic Play. These providers are known for certified random number generators, fair return-to-player percentages, and games that have been independently audited. When Grand Rush Casino features games from respected developers, players can have more confidence that the outcomes are genuinely random and not tilted against them beyond the standard house edge built into every casino game.

Game variety is another dimension worth evaluating carefully. A well-rounded online casino typically offers hundreds of slot titles spanning classic three-reel games, video slots with multiple paylines and bonus features, progressive jackpot machines, and branded slots tied to popular entertainment properties. Beyond slots, strong platforms also offer a robust table game library — think multiple variants of blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and craps — along with video poker. Live dealer games have become a defining feature of premium online casinos in recent years, giving players real-time interaction with professional dealers via high-definition video streams. If Grand Rush Casino carries a live casino section, it's worth checking which software provider powers it and whether table limits accommodate both casual players and those who prefer higher stakes.

Bonuses are often the first thing new players notice, but they require careful reading rather than a quick glance at the headline number. A
