Paragon Casino

Paragon Casino has carved out a distinctive niche in the online gambling world by building its entire platform around cryptocurrency. Launched in 2013, it was among the earliest online gambling destinations to go fully crypto-native, accepting Bitcoin long before digital assets became mainstream. For American players who are exploring offshore gambling options and are comfortable using crypto, understanding exactly what this platform offers — and where it falls short — is essential before depositing a single satoshi.

The platform operates under a license issued by the Curaçao eGaming authority, which is a common regulatory framework for offshore gambling sites that accept players from many countries. It's worth noting upfront that Paragon Casino operates in a legal gray area for US players. Online gambling regulations in the United States vary dramatically by state, and offshore sites operating outside US jurisdiction do not hold licenses from American gaming regulators. Players should verify their local laws before registering and always gamble responsibly within jurisdictions where it is permitted.

One of the defining features of Paragon Casino is the sheer breadth of supported cryptocurrencies. Beyond Bitcoin, the site accepts Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Tether, USD Coin, and several other digital assets. This multi-coin approach is genuinely useful for players who hold a diverse crypto portfolio, since it avoids the friction of converting everything into a single currency just to fund an account. Deposits are processed almost instantly once blockchain confirmations are satisfied, and withdrawals — a notorious pain point at many online casinos — tend to move quickly as well, with crypto transactions often completing within an hour under normal network conditions.

The casino section of Paragon Casino is extensive. The library includes thousands of slot titles from well-known software providers alongside table games, video poker, and live dealer options. The live casino lobby deserves specific mention: it features real-time games like blackjack, baccarat, roulette, and game show-style titles streamed from professional studios. For players who find standard RNG table games too detached from the feel of a real casino, the live dealer tables offer a more immersive experience. Betting limits in the live casino vary enough to accommodate both casual players making smaller crypto bets and high-volume players who want more substantial stakes.

Sports betting is another core pillar of the Paragon Casino experience. The sportsbook covers a wide range of markets, from American football and basketball to international soccer, tennis, esports, and combat sports. Odds are presented in standard decimal format by default, though bettors accustomed to American moneyline odds may need a brief adjustment period. The available bet types include standard moneylines, spreads, totals, parlays, and various prop options depending on the event. Esports coverage is notably thorough, which aligns with the platform's younger, tech-forward user base. In-play betting is available on many events, allowing wagers to be placed while the action is live, with odds updating dynamically as the game progresses.

The welcome bonus at Paragon Casino is structured around a tiered deposit match system rather than a straightforward flat bonus. New players can receive a percentage match on their initial deposit, with the potential bonus amount scaling upward based on how much a player deposits and wagers over time. The tiered approach means the maximum bonus ceiling is unusually high compared to many competitors, but reaching those upper tiers requires substantial wagering activity. As with any casino bonus, the wagering requirements attached to matched funds are critical to understand before accepting the offer. Bonus funds typically cannot be withdrawn until a certain multiple of the bonus amount has been wagered, and not all games contribute equally to clearing those requirements. Slot play usually contributes fully, while table games and live dealer games often contribute at a reduced rate or sometimes not at all.

One practical consideration for US-based players is the absence of traditional payment methods. Paragon Casino does not accept credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, PayPal, or other conventional fiat payment options. Every transaction on the platform runs through cryptocurrency. This is by design — it keeps the platform's financial rails entirely outside the US banking system, which has historically been hostile to gambling transactions under the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. For crypto-savvy bettors, this is a non-issue. For players who are new to digital assets, acquiring and managing cryptocurrency adds a layer of complexity that shouldn't be underestimated. Buying crypto, managing wallet security, understanding blockchain fees, and tracking taxable events all come with a learning curve.

The user interface at Paragon Casino is clean and reasonably well-organized, though the site's density of content can feel overwhelming on a first visit given the breadth of the sports markets and the casino's large game catalog. Mobile performance is generally solid — the site runs in mobile browsers without requiring a dedicated app download, which works well for most smartphones and tablets. Navigation between the sportsbook and casino sections is straightforward, and account management functions like checking balances, reviewing transaction history, and adjusting bonus preferences are accessible without too much digging.

Customer support is handled primarily through live chat and email. The quality of support interactions tends to be adequate for routine questions, though complex account or bonus disputes may require patience and multiple follow-ups. The site also maintains a help center with articles covering common questions about deposits, withdrawals, and game rules, which can resolve many basic issues without needing to contact an agent directly.

Provably fair gaming is one area where Paragon Casino puts in genuine effort. Provably fair is a cryptographic verification system unique to crypto gambling platforms, where players can independently verify that each game result was truly random and not manipulated by the house. Not every game in the catalog supports provably fair verification — that feature is typically limited to the platform's own proprietary games rather than third-party slots — but its presence is a meaningful trust signal in a segment of the industry where player skepticism about fairness is well-founded.

For players who are comparison shopping across offshore crypto casinos, a few distinguishing factors stand out about Paragon Casino. Its longevity in the market since 2013 is a meaningful data point — the platform has operated through multiple crypto market cycles, regulatory shifts, and industry upheavals without disappearing. That track record doesn't guarantee future reliability, but it compares favorably to the many fly-by-night crypto gambling sites that launch and vanish within a year or two. The combination of a substantial sportsbook and a full casino under one roof is also more convenient than maintaining accounts at separate specialist platforms.

That said, the offshore nature of the platform means that US players have limited legal recourse if a dispute arises. American gaming regulators have no jurisdiction over a Curaçao-licensed site, so players cannot file a formal complaint with a state gaming board the way they could with a domestically licensed operator. Self-regulation and reputation management are the primary accountability mechanisms in this space. Before depositing meaningful amounts, it's worth doing independent research on player forums and review communities to get a sense of how the site handles disputes, withdrawal delays, or bonus-related disagreements.

Responsible gambling tools are available on Paragon Casino, including deposit limits, loss limits, and self-exclusion options for players who need to step back. These tools are meaningful, but they're only as effective as the player's willingness to use them proactively. Online gambling — whether at a crypto casino or a domestically regulated site — should always be approached as entertainment with a defined budget, not as a strategy to generate income. Setting firm deposit limits before starting a session, taking regular breaks, and treating any wins as a bonus rather than an expectation are habits that protect the overall experience from becoming financially or emotionally harmful.

The tax dimension is also worth acknowledging for US-based players. The IRS treats gambling winnings as taxable income regardless of where the gambling occurred or whether it was conducted in cryptocurrency. Crypto gambling winnings are subject to both gambling income rules and potentially capital gains rules depending on how the cryptocurrency was acquired and at what price. The intersection of crypto tax rules and gambling tax rules is genuinely complex, and players who have significant activity on platforms like Paragon Casino would benefit from consulting a tax professional familiar with both areas.

Ultimately, Paragon Casino is a well-established, feature-rich platform for crypto users who want a combined sportsbook and casino experience. Its long track record, broad cryptocurrency support, provably fair options, and deep sports coverage give it credibility in the offshore gambling space. American players considering it need to go in clear-eyed about the regulatory reality, the crypto-only payment model, the offshore dispute resolution limitations, and their own state's gambling laws. For those who understand and accept those conditions, it represents one of the more serious and complete options available in the crypto gambling market.

Paragon Casino has built a reputation that carries serious weight in the American sports betting market. Originally rooted in Atlantic City's iconic casino culture, the Borgata brand made a natural transition into regulated online sports wagering and has since attracted a loyal base of bettors who value a combination of competitive odds, a clean interface, and a name they recognize. If you're weighing your options among the growing number of licensed sportsbooks operating in the US, understanding exactly what Paragon Casino brings to the table — and where it falls short — is worth your time.

The brand operates under the BetMGM umbrella, which means it shares technology, odds feeds, and promotional infrastructure with one of the largest sports betting operators in North America. For bettors, this is a meaningful detail. It signals financial stability, regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and the kind of backend investment that keeps apps running smoothly during high-traffic moments like NFL Sunday or March Madness. The Borgata name serves as a market-specific identity rather than an entirely independent platform, but it carries its own distinct branding and, in some states, its own bonus offers that differ from what BetMGM runs simultaneously.

Getting started with Paragon Casino follows the standard process for any regulated US sportsbook. You'll need to be physically located in a state where it's licensed to operate, meet the minimum age requirement — typically 21 and older — and complete an identity verification process. The geo-location check happens each time you open the app, so attempting to place bets while traveling out of a licensed state won't work. This is a feature of legal, regulated books, not a bug, and it's worth understanding upfront so you're not caught off guard.

The app itself is one of the more polished offerings in the space. Navigation is intuitive enough that new sports bettors won't spend ten minutes hunting for the live betting tab, and experienced bettors will appreciate how quickly bet slips populate and odds refresh. The live betting interface is particularly well-designed — in-game wagering on major sports like NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL is fluid, with markets updating in near real time. The ability to cash out early on open bets is available on many markets, giving you a degree of control over your position that's become something of a baseline expectation among competitive sportsbooks.

On the odds side, Paragon Casino is generally competitive without being the single best option on every market. Point spreads and totals on major American sports tend to sit close to the industry standard, which is what you'd expect from a large-scale operator. Where sharp bettors sometimes find value is in player props and alternative lines, categories that have expanded significantly across the industry in recent years. Paragon Casino offers a solid variety of prop markets, particularly for NFL and NBA games, though the depth of niche sports coverage won't match some of the more specialized international-facing books. For the casual to mid-level American bettor focused primarily on domestic leagues, the market selection is more than sufficient.

The welcome bonus is one of the first things most prospective users look at, and Paragon Casino typically offers a new-user promotion tied to your first deposit or first bet. The specific structure — whether it's a deposit match, a first-bet safety net, or bonus bet credits — can shift based on current promotions and which state you're accessing the platform from. Reading the terms carefully before opting in is always smart. Pay attention to the playthrough requirement if there is one, the expiration window on any bonus bets you receive, and whether the promotion applies to specific bet types or markets. A bonus bet that expires in five days and only counts toward parlay wagers is a very different offer from one that applies freely to any straight bet at standard odds.

Ongoing promotions at Paragon Casino include parlay boosts, odds boosts on featured games, and occasional loyalty-based rewards for frequent bettors. The rewards program integrates with MGM's broader loyalty ecosystem, which means your wagering activity can contribute toward perks at MGM-affiliated properties — a genuine differentiator for bettors who also travel or visit brick-and-mortar casinos. For someone who regularly spends time at MGM or Borgata properties in person, this cross-platform value is real and tangible in a way that doesn't apply at purely digital-native sportsbooks.

Banking is a practical concern that doesn't get enough attention in sportsbook reviews. Paragon Casino supports a solid range of deposit and withdrawal methods, including major credit and debit cards, PayPal, online bank transfer, and in some states, cash deposits via PayNearMe at retail locations. Withdrawal times vary by method — e-wallet options tend to process faster than direct bank transfers, and paper checks take the longest. One thing worth knowing: some debit and credit card transactions at gambling sites are coded in a way that issuers occasionally decline. If you run into a declined card, it's usually worth trying a different payment method rather than assuming the sportsbook has a technical issue.

Customer support at Paragon Casino is available through live chat and email, with live chat being the faster and more practical route for time-sensitive issues like a missing deposit or a voided bet you want explained. Response quality in the live chat tends to be adequate for standard questions, though complex account issues sometimes require escalation and additional wait time. This is not unique to Paragon Casino — it's a known friction point across most large-scale online sportsbooks — but it's worth setting expectations accordingly.

One area where Paragon Casino and its parent infrastructure genuinely stand out is regulatory credibility. Operating under licenses issued by state gaming authorities means the platform is subject to oversight, auditing, and consumer protection standards that unregulated offshore sites simply don't face. Your funds are held in accordance with state requirements, disputes have a formal resolution process, and the odds are subject to transparency rules. For anyone who has ever dealt with the frustration of an offshore book freezing a withdrawal or disputing a winning ticket with no recourse available, this structural difference is enormous. Sticking to licensed operators isn't just a legal concern — it's a practical one that protects your money.

The desktop experience on Paragon Casino mirrors the mobile app closely, which is useful for bettors who prefer placing larger or more complex wagers on a full screen. Building multi-leg parlays is slightly more comfortable with a keyboard and larger display, and the bet slip management tools are easier to navigate. That said, most American sports bettors are primarily mobile users, and the iOS and Android apps are clearly where the development attention is focused.

It's worth addressing one of the more common misconceptions new bettors bring to any sportsbook: the idea that a larger, more well-known platform somehow means better odds or guaranteed winning outcomes. Brand recognition is a proxy for reliability and user experience, not a signal about the underlying probability of any given wager. Every sports bet carries risk. The house maintains a margin — often called the vig or juice — built into the odds on both sides of every market. Over a large enough sample, this margin works against the bettor. Approaching sports wagering as entertainment with a defined budget, rather than as a consistent income source, is the mindset that keeps the experience enjoyable rather than stressful. Setting deposit limits through the platform's responsible gambling tools is a practical step that the platform supports and that any bettor would be wise to use.

Compared to competitors operating in the same states, Paragon Casino sits comfortably in the upper tier without necessarily dominating any single category. It's not the sportsbook with the deepest international soccer markets. It's not always the one with the most aggressive new-user bonus structure. But it combines a trustworthy brand, a smooth product, competitive pricing on mainstream American sports, and the cross-platform benefits of the MGM loyalty ecosystem into a package that makes genuine sense for a wide range of bettors. If you're already in the MGM rewards world or you prioritize a stable, well-regulated app over chasing the highest single-day bonus, Paragon Casino is a legitimate, competitive choice among US legal sports betting options.

Before signing up anywhere, confirm that the platform is currently licensed in your state, verify the current bonus terms directly on the site rather than relying on third-party summaries, and make sure you understand the withdrawal process before your first deposit. Those three steps will save you most of the frustration that new sportsbook users commonly experience, regardless of which regulated platform they choose.

Stepping aboard a Carnival Cruise ship and heading to the casino feels different from walking into a land-based casino in Las Vegas or Atlantic City. The setting is uniquely intimate — the gentle motion of the ocean, the ambient sound of slot machines, and the informal atmosphere that cruise ships do so well. If you're planning a Carnival sailing and want to make the most of what the onboard casino has to offer, understanding how everything works before you board will save you time, money, and more than a few frustrating moments at the tables.

The Paragon Casino is operated by Carnival Corporation's gaming division and is available on most ships in the fleet. The casino typically opens once the ship is in international waters, which usually happens shortly after departure from the home port. This is a federal maritime law requirement, not a Carnival policy — gambling on a vessel sailing under an American flag is only permitted beyond the three-nautical-mile boundary from shore. So if you're planning to gamble on embarkation day, expect a short wait after the ship sets sail before the casino lights come on.

In terms of size, the Paragon Casino ranges from modest to impressively large depending on which ship you're sailing. Larger vessels like the Mardi Gras or Carnival Jubilee have full-scale gaming floors with dozens of table games and hundreds of slot machines. Smaller, older ships offer a more stripped-down experience with fewer options. If the casino is a major priority for your trip, checking your specific ship's amenities before booking is a smart move. Carnival's website lists onboard features by ship, and travel agents familiar with the fleet can point you toward the most casino-friendly options.

Slot machines make up the majority of the floor space in any Paragon Casino. The selection spans classic three-reel machines, video slots with multi-payline configurations, and progressive jackpot games where a portion of each bet contributes to a growing top prize. Many of the titles will be familiar to anyone who has played at a regulated land-based or online casino — popular licensed themes and well-known game mechanics appear throughout. The machines are operated using either cash or a ticket-in, ticket-out (TITO) system, meaning winnings are printed on a voucher that you cash out at the machine or redemption terminal.

Table games at the Paragon Casino typically include blackjack, roulette, craps, three-card poker, and Caribbean stud. Some ships also offer let it ride and other proprietary poker variants. The rules at these tables are generally consistent with standard casino practices, though there are small variations worth knowing. Blackjack, for example, is usually played with six or eight decks, and you should check whether the dealer hits or stands on soft 17 — this affects the house edge in a meaningful way. If you're a serious blackjack player, a quick look at the posted rules before you sit down is always worthwhile.

One thing that surprises some players is the minimum bet structure on cruise ships. Table minimums can be higher than what casual players expect, particularly during peak hours or sea days when demand for seats is high. It's not unusual to see $10 or $15 minimums on blackjack during off-peak times climb to $25 during busy evenings. If you're budgeting for table play, factor in the possibility that minimums may not always be at the lowest posted level. Arriving at the casino shortly after it opens is usually the best time to find lower minimums and more open seats.

The Paragon Casino uses its own loyalty and tracking system that operates under Carnival's Players Club. When you sign up — which is free and can be done at the casino host desk — your play is tracked and you accumulate points that can be redeemed for free slot play, dining credits, or future sailing discounts. For frequent Carnival cruisers who enjoy gaming, this program adds genuine value over time. High rollers can receive invitations to exclusive casino promotions, free cabin upgrades, or complimentary sailings based on their level of play. The program is separate from Carnival's general loyalty club (VIFP), though the two can work in parallel.

Drinks in the Paragon Casino are handled differently than in Las Vegas, where complimentary cocktails are a standard perk for gamblers. On Carnival, you are not automatically entitled to free drinks just for playing. If you've purchased one of Carnival's beverage packages, those cover drinks in the casino just as they do elsewhere on the ship. If you haven't purchased a package, you'll pay per drink. This is an important distinction for players who factor in drink comp culture as part of their gambling budget. The good news is that Carnival's casino staff is generally attentive, and if you're playing at a steady pace, getting service doesn't usually take long.

One of the most common mistakes first-time Paragon Casino visitors make is misunderstanding the currency situation. Onboard, your Sail & Sign card is linked to a credit card, debit card, or cash deposit you set up at check-in. You can use your Sail & Sign card to access funds at the casino cage, where your account is charged in US dollars. While this is convenient, it can also make it easy to lose track of spending since you're not physically handing over cash. Setting a hard daily limit before you start playing — and sticking to it — prevents what's sometimes called

Paragon Casino has carved out a recognizable name in the American social casino space, drawing in players who want the feel of real casino gameplay without putting actual money on the line. Unlike traditional real-money online casinos, Paragon Casino operates on a sweepstakes model, which means it navigates US gambling laws through a legal structure that allows it to be accessible in most states. Understanding exactly how that model works — and what it means for your experience — is essential before you dive in.

The sweepstakes casino format has grown substantially in the US over the past several years, largely because it sidesteps the complex patchwork of state-by-state real-money gambling regulations. Paragon Casino uses two types of in-game currencies: Gold Coins, which are purely for entertainment and hold no redeemable value, and Sweeps Coins, which can be redeemed for real prizes, including cash. You never purchase Sweeps Coins directly. Instead, they're distributed through promotional bonuses, mail-in requests, and when you acquire Gold Coin packages. This distinction is what keeps the platform operating legally across most of the country.

When you first register at Paragon Casino, you're greeted with a welcome bonus that typically includes both Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins at no cost. This is a standard practice in the sweepstakes casino world, and it gives new players a genuine opportunity to explore the platform and potentially accumulate Sweeps Coins before spending anything. That said, it's worth reading the promotional terms carefully, since there are often playthrough requirements attached to bonus Sweeps Coins before they can be redeemed.

The game library at Paragon Casino is one of its stronger selling points. The platform offers a wide range of slots, including titles developed by well-known gaming studios, alongside table games like blackjack and roulette. The slot selection in particular spans a variety of themes, volatility levels, and bonus features, making it easy to find something that suits your preferences. While the experience mirrors what you'd find at a real-money online casino in terms of visuals and mechanics, the absence of genuine financial stakes does change the psychological dynamic of the session for many players.

One area where Paragon Casino genuinely distinguishes itself is in the quality of its interface and mobile experience. The site is clean, loads efficiently, and translates well to both iOS and Android devices. Mobile gaming has become the preferred format for millions of American players, and Paragon Casino appears to have invested meaningfully in ensuring that slots and table games perform smoothly on smaller screens. Lag, poor scaling, and clunky navigation are common complaints about lesser-built platforms — problems that are largely absent here.

Customer support is a practical consideration that doesn't always get enough attention in casino reviews. Paragon Casino provides support through email and a help center, which covers the most common questions around account verification, coin packages, and redemptions. Response times through email can vary, and the absence of a live chat option is a noticeable gap compared to some competing sweepstakes platforms. If you run into a time-sensitive issue, that could be frustrating. Keeping this in mind, it's reasonable to spend a few minutes familiarizing yourself with the FAQ section before you need it.

Redeeming Sweeps Coins for cash prizes is the feature that most players are curious about, and it's worth walking through how it works in practice. Once you've accumulated a qualifying balance of Sweeps Coins and met any applicable wagering conditions, you can submit a redemption request. Paragon Casino processes these through a few methods, and the timeframe can range from a few business days to somewhat longer depending on the method and your verification status. Account verification — submitting identity documents — is a required step before any redemption is approved. This is standard across legitimate sweepstakes platforms and is part of what distinguishes credible operators from questionable ones.

It's important to be clear-eyed about the business model. Paragon Casino earns revenue when players purchase Gold Coin packages, since those purchases often come with bonus Sweeps Coins. You're never obligated to buy anything — the free mail-in option for Sweeps Coins is a genuine alternative — but in practice, most active players on these platforms do make purchases at some point. There's nothing inherently problematic about that, as long as you approach it the way you would any entertainment expense: with a fixed budget and no expectation of profit.

This brings up responsible gambling, which is just as relevant in a sweepstakes context as it is with real-money play. Even though your Gold Coins have no monetary value, the gameplay mechanics are functionally identical to real casino games. Slot machines, by design, are built to encourage continued play. The absence of real money doesn't eliminate the potential for compulsive behavior or overspending on coin packages. Setting a monthly spending limit for purchases, treating sessions as entertainment rather than a path to income, and stepping away when play stops feeling fun are all habits that apply here just as much as anywhere else.

Availability is a strength of Paragon Casino, though not universal. The sweepstakes model allows access in the majority of US states, but a few states — including Washington — have historically restricted sweepstakes casino platforms due to local interpretations of gaming law. Before registering, confirm that the platform is available in your state. The Paragon Casino site typically outlines restricted territories in its terms of service. Age requirements apply as well; you must be at least 18 years old to participate, though the platform sets its own policies which may differ by state.

Comparing Paragon Casino to other sweepstakes casino platforms reveals both its strengths and limitations. On the positive side, the game variety is competitive, the interface is polished, and the platform has built a recognizable brand with a reasonably active player community. On the other hand, the redemption process can feel slower or more complicated than some newer platforms that have streamlined the experience. Players accustomed to the smoother payout flows offered by some competing sites may find this a point of friction.

New players sometimes make the mistake of treating Sweeps Coins casually without tracking the terms attached to them. Each bonus distribution may come with specific conditions around minimum balances required before redemption, or time limits on using promotional coins. Overlooking these details can lead to disappointment when you expect to redeem a balance and find that conditions haven't been met. Taking five minutes to read the current promotional terms when you receive bonus coins is a small investment that prevents avoidable frustration.

Another common misconception is that winning at slots on Paragon Casino — even large in-game amounts — automatically translates into a significant cash payout. Because Sweeps Coins are redeemed at a fixed rate and redemptions have minimum thresholds, a big slot win in-game needs to be translated into the actual redeemable Sweeps Coin balance and then assessed against those terms. The gap between an exciting on-screen number and a real-world payout can be wider than it appears at first glance, which is worth calibrating expectations around.

The social and entertainment elements of Paragon Casino are genuinely part of its appeal for a lot of American players. For people in states where real-money online casinos aren't yet regulated, or for those who simply prefer a no-pressure gaming environment, sweepstakes platforms offer a middle ground that didn't really exist a decade ago. The games are engaging, the prizes are real within the platform's framework, and the barrier to entry is low enough that curious players can try it without a significant commitment.

Overall, Paragon Casino represents a well-built entry in the US sweepstakes casino market. It's not a real-money gambling site, and players who understand that distinction and approach it accordingly will likely find it an enjoyable and legally accessible form of entertainment. The key is going in informed: know how the currency system works, understand the redemption process, keep your spending intentional, and treat the experience the way you'd treat any other form of digital entertainment — as something worth your time only as long as it stays fun.

Boltgun is a good time for any FPS-enjoyer out there. It's not particularly challenging mechanically, but it's easy to have a good time in the power fantasy and even better as a fan of Warhammer 40,000. The highest difficulty is not nearly as punishing as "Not even a primarch could survive," might lead you to believe, but clearing levels and collecting all the secrets in one go ups the ante. The finale of the main game and DLC both put the screws to you, and you'll want to rebind some weapon switches to make hitting 5, 6, 7, and 8 (then 9 and 0 in the DLC!) not take you off your movement keys. You'll likely want to pick it up on sale, I got the main game and DLC for around 15 bucks, which feels about right.

This is a really good retro-graphics boomer shooter. The gameplay is excellent - furious combat and smooth controls. I very much recommend it. I have two minor negatives. First, the pixelated graphics are intentional to reflect the style of the 1990s, but they can make enemies hard to see and identify, especially at a distance. Second, the difficulty fluctuates a lot, with a few brief difficulty spikes I couldn't get past. But, fortunately, the game also has an 'invincible' mode (in the accessibility options) than you can toggle on or off to get past these extreme difficulty areas (I've had to do that twice). The maps can also be a bit puzzling to get through, but there's a key to briefly toggle on pathing that mostly solves being lost. The maps (with the option to enable pathing) are no where near as convoluted as the original shooters from the 90s. Those minor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aside, this is a really great game. I bought the expansion and look forward to playing it, and will certainly plat Boltgun 2 some time after it's release.

Paragon Casino sits along the Colorado River in Parker, Arizona, offering a tribal gaming destination that draws visitors from across the Southwest and beyond. Operated by the Colorado River Indian Tribes, it represents one of the more distinctive casino experiences in the region — part resort, part riverfront retreat, and part full-service gaming floor. Whether you're planning a road trip from Southern California, heading out from Phoenix, or simply curious about what this property offers, there's quite a bit worth understanding before you make the drive.

The property is located on tribal land, which means it operates under a tribal gaming compact with the state of Arizona rather than standard commercial gaming regulations. This is a meaningful distinction for players who pay attention to regulatory oversight. Tribal casinos in the United States are regulated through a combination of the National Indian Gaming Commission, tribal gaming commissions, and applicable state compacts. Paragon Casino falls under that framework, which provides a legitimate, regulated structure for the gaming operation. Players should always feel comfortable asking about licensing and oversight at any casino they visit — regulated environments exist to protect both the operator and the customer.

The gaming floor at Paragon Casino covers a solid range of options for most recreational players. Slot machines make up the bulk of the floor space, as they do at nearly every tribal casino in the country. The selection spans everything from classic three-reel machines to video slots with multiple bonus features, progressive jackpots, and varying denominations. Players who prefer lower-stakes action will find penny and nickel machines readily available, while those comfortable with higher limits can find machines that accommodate larger bets. One thing worth keeping in mind at any slot floor: the house edge is built in, and no specific machine is
